Emerson Publications was created in 1989 as a way to market All They’ll Need to Know.
I took money from savings to have the books printed and then set out to market it. Being new at all of this, I didn’t realize how much it would cost to actually pay for “advertising,” but discovered that if I found the right people, I could get some publicity without paying for it.
Here’s one of the early articles which appeared in the Kansas City Star Magazine on March 5, 1989.
