Generally located at entrance, narrow console table often serves as a whole for keys, mail and anything that comes and goes regularly. Consoles, however, can also make strong design focal points, either in hallway, living room, a room or hallway above. While minimalist could keep as naked as possible console table offers a way to show small collections and add visual interest to space.
Consider aesthetic design of your space. Use narrow console table as a way to both reflect and expand – or turn up volume – in general environment of their home. Although this is an abstract idea open to interpretation, it may mean creating a concentrated or adding bold splashes of color to an otherwise monochromatic scheme collection. Example, collection of turquoise vases of different sizes and materials, or large collection of shells shown artfully, both offer more visual power in area that when separated in house.
Make narrow console table focal point, or anchor – room through art. Consider focused a large mirror or piece of art above table and design around it. Maintain large part proportional to table. For example, if table has a fine glass and iron legs, do not place a frame of mahogany big, thick envelope size. Resulting look is too heavy.
